Whole School Curriculum Map

The whole school curriculum overview is a two-year rolling programme which summarises our topic-led curriculum and our curriculum vertical drivers. 

In the Early Years, we follow a range of topics each term which incorporate opportunities for learning in each of the seven areas of the revised Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We have a very well-resourced and stimulating indoor and outdoor classroom, which enables the children to access all areas of learning on a daily basis.

In Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, we teach and enrich the knowledge and skills required by the National Curriculum 2014, through a 2-year topic cycle for Years 2–4. 

Within our topics, individual subjects are taught discreetly to enable the children to develop subject-specific knowledge and skills and to make links across the curriculum.
